No decision reached over EU’s South Caucasus special representative: Semneby

No decision has so far been made over the possible closing of the special representation for South Caucasus in European Union, EU special representative for South Caucasus Peter Semneby told journalists in Sukhumi, Abkhazia.

“It is related to the beginning of the work of EU’s diplomatic service. Anyway I promise that the South Caucasus will not be left out of EU’s focus,” said Semneby.

Earlier EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Catherine Ashton said that EU’s special representation in South Caucasus might be closed.
