President signs decree to create negotiation team for Armenia-EU Associative Agreement

Armenia's President Serzh Sargsyan has signed a decree to create a team will be responsible for the negotiations of Associative Agreement between Armenia and European Union.

The same decree also envisages creation of groups that will be responsible for sector that the agreement will include.

Currently it is the Foreign Ministry of Armenia that is in charge of the secretarial functions of the negotiation team with Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan appointed as coordinator.

Deputy Foreign Minister Karine Ghazinyan has been appointed as chief negotiator.
