Erdogan's dressing and lifestyle rouses concerns among oppositionists

Turkish opposition Democratic-Republican Party has voiced concern over Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s dressing and lifestyle.

According to Haberturk Said Yilmaz from Democratic-Republican Party has sent a written query to Erdogan in an attempt to find out where the PM finds the money to buy Pierre Cardin suits.

“Is that true that Pierre Cardin sends you 3-4 suits per year? Are the suits sent directly to you as gifts? If so, is that relevant with the norms of ethics to accept such expensive gifts,” Yilmaz wrote in his letter.

Further he complained about Erdogan’s luxurious lifestyle.

“The Prime Minister has villas with pools, he goes on hoilday with his family in private jets, and his children have attended the most expensive schools. All that needs to be examined.”
