Angela Merkel receives boxing gloves as present from Arthur Abraham

Famous Armenian-German boxer Arthur Abraham has given a symbolic gift to the German Chancellor - a pair of boxing gloves.

According to Russian website Championat.ru Angela Merkel visited the training camp of Kinbaumi, 20km far from Berlin, where she met with Abraham.

"I gave her boxing gloves as present; she promised to keep them in her office. I hope they will bring her success in her political activities. It is a great honor for me to meet the Chancellor. We have spoken about a lot of interesting things," Arthur Abraham was reported as saying after the meeting with the Chancellor.
