Lebanon has a well-balanced approach to Karabakh conflict: Hovik Abrahamyan

Armenia highly appreciates Lebanon’s balanced approach towards the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Chairman of Armenia’s National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan said Tuesday at a meeting with his Lebanese counterpart Nabih Berri in the framework of a visit to Beirut.

Saying that the relations between Armenian and Lebanon date back to centuries, Hovik Abrahamyan thanked his counterpart also for the friendly treatment Armenians receive in Lebanon.

In his words Armenians in Lebanon have been able to preserve their rich national life and culture due to the friendly approach of the Lebanese people.

According to Abrahamyan, Armenians, as citizens of Lebanon, have had their tangible role in the development and prosperity of the country.
