Non-starter for Armenian wrestlers in Budapest

World Wrestling Championship has already started in Budapest, Hungary, with Armenian wrestlers showing poor performance, reports local Armenian sports news website Armsport.am.

Ervand Tadevosyan (50kg) succeeded in the 1/8 final. But he fell short of victory in the ¼ final with the Russian wrestler Zikrula Dadaev at a 0:1, 0:2 score.

While competing with Nidjad Muradov for the bronze medal Tadevosyan lost at a 0:1, 0:6 score.

In the 1/8 final Sergei Hovsepyan (60kg) lost to Yasin Kul (Turkey) at a 3:0, 3:4, 1:3 score.

Another Armenian wrestler, David Gevorgyan, also showed poor performance as from the very beginning he lost to Ilgiz Jakypbekov (Kyrgyzstan) at a 1:4, 0:3 score.
