Largest tax payers in Armenia; no serious changes in top 10

State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia has publicized the list of the largest tax payers of the first semester of 2010.
With some displacements in the list the top ten companies have generally remained the same in comparison to the same period in 2009.

ArmRosGazProm is the number one tax payer with a total of 10,039b AMD paid in taxes. The second company is Alex-Grig, which belongs to MP Samvel Alexanyan. It has improved its position in the list (last year it was the 4th) and has had a 35 per cent increase in tax payments.

In the 3rd and 4th places come two local mobile operators ArmenTel and K-Telecom with 7,279b AMD and 7,270b AMD respectively in tax payment.

There has been no position change with the 5th company importing gasoline fuel to Armenia - Flesh. The company has paid 5,485b AMD in taxes.
