State Revenue Committee overfulfils tax and customs collection

Taxes and customs levied during January-July 2010 period have exceeded the data recorded in the same period in the last two years, according to State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

This year more than 338,3b AMD has been sent to the state budget in tax revenues. The planned amount to be levied has been exceeded by 34,7b AMD (social security payments exclusive).

This year the Committee has levied 60.2b AMD more in taxes and customs compared to the same period in 2009, and about 3b AMD more than in the first seven months in 2008 (social security payments exclusive).

Overfulfilment has been registered also in social security payments in comparison to 2008 and 2009 data. In the first half of 2010 64.9b AMD was collected, which is 6.5b AMD more-than-planned. The amount is 8b AMD more than collected in the same period in 2009 and 9.8b AMD more than levied in 2008.
