Hague Court to hear Georgia's lawsuit against Russia

International Court of Justice in Hague will start hearing Georgia's lawsuit against Russia on 13 September, reports Georgian news website airzena.com.

The sides will be able to express their positions at the trial, Deputy Justice Minister of Georgia Tina Burjaliani was reported as saying.

According to her, the Georgian side has already sent all the materials and documents to the Court.

Georgia brought a suit against Russia to The Hague Court on 12 August, 2008. The lawsuit relates to charges over ethnic cleansing allegedly exercised by Russia in Georgia since 1990.
