Premier Sargsyan to undergo medical examination abroad

Armenia’s Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan will from 9-13 August be on a short vacation, according to a Government release.

Mr Sargsyan will spend part of his vacation in abroad where he will undergo a medical examination.

During his stay on vacation Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan will assume Mr Sargsyan’s responsibilities.

In April this year PM Sargsyan had been hospitalized as his health had deteriorated suddenly with his blood pressure running high. But soon he had been discharged after spending just a few hours at the hospital to recover.
