Woman sues 'Donald Duck' requiring $50,000 in damages

April Magolon from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania claims she was groped by Donald Duck at Walt Disney World, and is now suing the park. The suit, in which she is seeking $50,000 in damages, was filed in July, claiming negligence, battery, and infliction of emotional distress on the part of Walt Disney.

The alleged incident occurred over two years ago, back in May 2008, where Magolon said she was approached an employee wearing a Donald Duck costume, who then grabbed her breast and made "groping gestures" as if making a joke of it.

This is not the first time Disney has faced a suit involving one of its costumed employees. Years ago, one woman was accidently bumped by a Pluto on one of the floats during a parade, at which point she sued claiming the character intentionally kicked her.

Numerous times, people have sued for alleged gropings, either of them or their children, however Disney won many cases with demonstrations of how difficult the costumes are to maneuver and how limited their visibility is.
