Susi Kentikian is in Armenia

Armenian-German flyweight WBA WIBF and WBO female boxing champion Susi Kentikian is in Armenia.

Accompanied by her German manager Christophe Veshe she was on August 13 welcomed by Armenia's Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hacobyan, according to a release by the ministry.

Hranush Hacobyan said during the meeting she was thankful to the Federative Republic of Germany for giving foreigners a chance to record such success as Susi Kentikian did.

Mr Veshe in turn said Germany's political elite is very much interested in Susi Kentikian.

Further Mr Veshe said as her manager he would like to see Susi taking part in boxing tournaments held in Armenia in an attempt to strengthen the Armenia-Germany relations.

Hranush Hacobyan said she liked the idea.

Also during the meeting they discussed the project called Armenia's Life Tree (Lebensbaum Armenien) where Susi is part of it.
