Armenian woman charged with smuggling jewelry

An Armenian woman leaving Yerevan for the Russian city of Minvodi was caught while trying to smuggle jewelry.

Among more than 20 units of jewelry made of gold have been pendent, bracelets, rings with ornamented with diamonds and other expensive stones.

The jewelry has been estimated to be worth a total of 250 thousand Russian rubles.

A criminal case has been launched over smuggling charges.
