US president swimming in Gulf with daughter to silence skeptics

US President Barack Obama gets wet for an oil-free reassurance. Mr President and daughter take that all important dip in the Gulf of Mexico, to silence countless skeptics once and for all. Obama, as well as daughter Sasha goes for a swim at Panama City Beach, free from media radar and the public eye, with a reassuring gesture to Americans that Gulf waters are safe.

In fact, he encouraged his fellow citizens to continue spending their vacation in the region known for sugar-white beaches and tourism, which they depend highly on. In a recent visit by Obama to Florida, along with First Lady Michelle and daughter Sasha, he made it crystal clear to local officials and business leaders regarding the tourist attractions of the region.

"Oil is no longer flowing into the Gulf. But I'm here to tell you that our job is not finished, and we are not going anywhere until it is," said, adding that his visits will serve as a commitment to stand with the residents of the Gulf Coast, until they have recovered fully from the damage that has been caused.
