Azerbaijan won't unleash a war: Eduard Sharmazanov

Azerbaijan won't unleash a war against Karabakh, Spokesperson of the Republican Party of Armenia Eduard Sharmazanov told a press conference today.

In his words, by starting a war Azerbaijan has already once seen its consequences. At the same time, he said, that the self-defensive forces of Nagorno Karabakh will reach the natural borders of the Armenian Highland - Kura and Araks Rivers.

Asked whether the Russian troops deployed in Armenia would help the Armenian armed forces should Azerbaijan resume the war against Karabakh, Mr Sharmazanov said: "I think that the Azerbaijani side won't start a war."
