CSTO summit starts in Yerevan

An informal summit of the heads of Collective Security Treaty Organization member states has started in Armenia.

A group of national musical instruments of Sayat-Nova musical school in Yerevan had a performance as part of the opening ceremony in front of Cascade Complex in downtown Yerevan.

The CSTO or the Tashkent Treaty s a military alliance established on 7 October 2002 by Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.

The summit will last in Yerevan till August 22.
