Danil Khachaturov may buy Rosgosstrakh
Russia has decided to sell its package of shares (13.1%) in Rosgosstrakh - the largest insurance company in Russia.
The Russian Federal Agency for State Property Management (Rosimushchestvo) has defined the initial price for the package as 8.7 billion rubles.
The Russian state might have 43.3 billion rubles in earnings should it have sold its shares in Rosgosstrakh two years ago when it owned 25% of Rosgosstrakh's shares and when the duties' coefficient for selling insurance companies was 2.9.
Experts say that Rosgosstrakh's shares currently on sell will be bought by the company's main shareholder Russian-Armenian Danil Khachaturov, though there are currently other companies in the market interested in this acquisition.
According to Russian РБК daily, Khachaturov is planning to use this package of shares in creating an optional program for Rosgosstrakh’s managers. Experts say that by bringing together all the shares of this company it will be easier for Khachaturov to sell it in the future should he want to do so.
