"For Armenian-Language Education": civil activists planning to march

"We are against Foreign-Language Schools" initiative will at 13:30 on September 5 hold an authorized march.
Organized under a slogan "For Armenian-Language Education" the march will be joined by non-governmental organizations and civil initiatives.

The march will kick in from Matenadaran and will move forward to Sourb Sargis Church through Mashtots Avenue.
Some of NGOs will before joining the initiative go on pilgrimage to Sourb Mesrob Mashtots Church in Oshakan village, Aragatsotn marz (Province).

"Today when the mother language and the possibility of modernization of the Armenian identity are by an unprecedented graveness being posed at risk by an infamous draft already adopted by first reading at the National Assembly, the symbolism of Mashtots' activities gain far more importance," reads a statement issued by the initiative.
