Unprecedented violation of ceasefire on Karabakhi-Azerbaijani contact line

The contact line on the Karabakhi-Azerbaijani border has seen an unprecedented number of violations of the ceasefire during the night of 4 September till the morning of 5 September.

A total of 5000 bullets have been fired from the Azerbaijani side.

The Azerbaijani front-line troops have this time used weapons of different calibers such as AK gun, sniper, DShK and grenade launchers.

Ceasefire violation was more intensive in the front posts in the vicinities of Hadrut, Askeran, Martakert regions.

At least 600 bullets from DShK and PK sub-machine guns and 3000 bullets from AK guns have been fired in the vicinities of Upper Chailu village.

The Azerbaijani side quitted firing after the front troops of Karabakh's Defense Army took a worthy response.

According to the information department of Karabakh's Defense Ministry the Karabakhi side has suffered no losses.
