Moscow criminal authority Teko arrested

Moscow's investigation intelligence officers have in the south-eastern part of the city arrested Teymuraz Faroyan, nicknamed as Teko.

Faroyan is a highest-ranking criminal authority and descends from the clan of Aslan Usoyan, known as Ded Hasan - another highest-ranking criminal authority in Russia.

According to Interfax news agency Faroyan was born in Tbilisi, Georgia. He lives an active criminal life in Moscow and has for several times been sentenced.

The intelligence officers found about 5 gram of heroin as they ransacked him.

A criminal case has been launched against Teymuraz Faroyan.

Teko is known to be a big figure in the criminal world and makes his living mainly on robbery and gang attacks.

The police say he is overseeing several criminal groups, unites criminal authorities evicted from other regions and rules them and also maintains close ties with criminal authorities currently imprisoned.
