Armenian wrestler Amoyan wins bronze in Moscow

The Armenian team of wrestlers won the first medal on Monday in the Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship held in Moscow.

According to local Armenian sports news website Armsport.am, Roman Amoyan (55kg) won a bronze medal as he beat Venelin Venkov (Bulgaria) at a 18:0, 9:0 score.

Last year Amoyan won silver.

Among other Armenian wrestlers competing on Monday were Artak Adikyan (66) and Sargis Tonoyan, who could not unfortunately pave their way to victory.

Four other Armenian wrestlers will try their wrestling abilities today, among them are also Arsen Julfalakyan (74) and Yuri Patrikeev.
