US Co-Chair of OSCE Minsk Group arrives in Azerbaijan

US Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Robert Bradtke has arrived in Baku where he will join other OSCE MG Co-Chairs Bernard Fassier of France and Igor Popov of Russia who arrived in Baku on Monday.

According to the Azerbaijani news agency APA the mediators will today meet with the Azerbaijani authorities. They will also observe the monitoring on the line of contact in Martakert. The Co-Chairs are expected to cross into the other side of the line of contact during the monitoring.

The key aim of the visit is to discuss the details of the fact-finding mission to investigate the settlement of the territories surrounding the Nagorno Karabakh.

The mediators will hold similar meetings in Yerevan and Stepanakert on September 8-9.
