Emir Kusturica planns to shoot a film about Russia

Serb film director Emir Kusturica is planning to shoot a film about Russia.

In an interview with Utro.ru Kusturica said Russia was his second home, and that the time he will make his long-standing dream come true is close now.

The script is not yet ready, though the work on that part is in full swings. The shooting will start in 2011 and will take place in several cities in Russia.

The film director said he has already decided who will play the role of the main woman role: Ingeborga Dapkunaite, his age-long friend. The role for the main man character is also known: Ivan Urgant or Konstantin Khabensky.

Kusturica's songs will also be used in the film.
