Monitoring on Karabakhi-Azerbaijani contact line passed without any breach of ceasefire

In accordance with an agreement achieved earlier with the NKR authorities the OSCE mission conducted on September 8 ? regular monitoring of the contact line of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijani Armed Forces on Martakert-Tartar road.

According to a release issued by the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh, from the positions of the NKR Defense Army the monitoring was conducted by Field Assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Antal Herdich (Hungary) and Hristo Hristov (Bulgaria).

From the Azerbaijani side the monitoring was held by Coordinator of the OSCE Office, Lieutenant-Colonel Imre Palatinus (Hungary) and Field Assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Zhaslan Nurtazin (Kazakhstan) and William Pryor (Great Britain).

The monitoring passed in accordance with the planned schedule. No violation of the cease-fire accord was registered.
As it was planned, during the monitoring the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs Robert Bradtke (USA), Bernard Fassier (France) and Igor Popov (Russia), as well as Personal Representative of the OSCE CiO, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk crossed the line of contact.
The monitoring mission from the Karabakhi side was accompanied by the representatives of the NKR Ministries of Defense and Foreign Affairs.
