Russia's Medvedev dissatisfied with their national football team

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev could not but comment on the fact that Russia's national football team was defeated by Slovakians in the framework of the Euro 2010 Qualifier.

"Our players played very bad. They were playing like …," Mr Medvedev wrote on his Twitter page.

Adik Advokat, the coach of the Russian national team, said he did not share Mr Medvedev's opinion about their own players.

"I think only one of the teams deserved victory, and that was not Slovakia's team. Unfortunately, such defeats are also possible. This is football. I am satisfied with the game of our players," he was reported as saying.
