The first of the two friendly matches between the Armenian and Georgian teams of 17-year-old football players took place in Hanqavan, Armenia on September 9.

According to local Armenian sports news website Armsport.am the Armenian players had far more chances to score goals during the match that saw an equal fighting for victory.

But, none of the teams was able to make a goal and the match ended at a draw.

The second match will take place again in Hanqavan on September 11.
