Armenian church used as polling station in Turkey

An ancient Armenian church has been used as a polling station during Turkey's 12 September constitutional referendum, according to Turkish news agency Dogan.

Saint Mary Church is Kayseri, central Turkey, has for 40 years been used as a sports hall.

Earlier the Turkish authorities had said that they wanted to renovate the church and reopen it as a museum.
