European Court of Human Rights to publicize ruling over Dink case

European Court of Human Rights will on September 14 publicize its ruling relating to the case lodged against the Turkish state over the slain Armenian-Turkish journalist Hrant Dink.

The lawsuit had been filed by Dink's family.

Earlier in August the court had ruled that Turkey violated the freedom of expression by trying Dink for insulting 'Turkishness.' Besides the Turkish state was found guilty for violating the right to life by failing to protect Dink despite death threats.

The European Court of Human Rights had also condemned the inefficiency of the legal proceedings that took place after his death.
