Russian historians re-edited history

Moscow’s military-historical center has said that about 79,000 Georgians were killed during the World War II as they sided with the Soviet Union.

According to all the other sources known so far the number of Georgians killed in that war was 300,000.

According to the date published on the center’s official website Russians had the biggest toll during the war – around 5,756,000.

Russian historians edited also the figures related to the losses Armenians had during the Great Patriotic War by reducing it about four times – 83,700.
