Armenian kids in Georgia will have bilingual books at school

Georgia has for the first time ever published manuals designed for national minorities in the country.

Georgian Ministry of Education has told Azerbaijani news agency Trend that only 35 per cent of the content of those manuals is in Georgian, while the rest is in the corresponding languages of national minorities.

The books have been published for the Armenian, Azerbaijani and Russian schools in Georgia.

In general, manuals in history and geography for 7th, 8th, 8th, 10th, 11th and 12th forms have been translated.

The books will be handed to school-children for free.
