Eugene Petrosyan celebrates 65th anniversary

September 16th is the 65th anniversary of the Moscow-based Armenian satirist Eugene Petrosyan.

According to Russian news website Vesti.ru Russia's President Dmitry Medvedev has congratulated him on the occasion.

Mr Medvedev has particularly said that each meeting with the Armenian satirist becomes a real feast for the adherents of this genre of art.

He has also said that Smekhopanorama (laugh panorama - Russian), a TV program by Mr Petrosyan aired now for 15 years, has a real lovers among audience of different generations.

Mr Medvedev also wished him good health and creative inspiration, as well as success and welfare for his family.
