Parliament Deputy Chairperson Arevik Petrosyan resigns

Deputy Chairperson of Armenia's National Assembly, member of the Prosperous Armenia Party Arevik Petrosyan has submitted a resignation to the parliament.

Speaking to Tert.am Khachik Galstyan, Spokesperson of Gagik Tsarukyan, President of PAP, confirmed this news.

He also said that he cannot at this moment say who pretend to this position.

"The names of the new candidates will be known before the four-day parliamentary session in October," said he.

Earlier during the resent parliamentary briefing Naira Zohrabyan from PAP dismissed reports in the Armenian mass media, saying neither she nor Aram Safaryan (PAP) pretend to that position.
