Armenians to compete with Costa Rica in World Chess Olympics

The 39th World Chess Olympics has already started in the Russian town of Khanti Mansijsk with the matches of the first tournament to be plaid today, reports local Armenian sports news website Armsport.am.

Armenian men's team which is the winner of the two previous Olympics will in the starting tournament compete with Costa Rica's team.

This time to the Armenian team is placed among the favorites and will compete for the highest positions.

Costa Rica's team is the 79th among the win list. Armenia is the 6th with its rankings and is obviously the favorite in this competition. The point is that with what score it will win the Costa Ricans.

Armenian women's team will not be seriously challenged in the first tournament either as it will compete with the team of weakly developed countries.
