FM Nalbandyan met Iranian and Canadian foreign ministers in UN

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan has met his Canadian counterpart Lawrence Cannon in the framework of the 65th session of the UN General Assembly on Friday, according to a release by Armenia’s Foreign Ministry.

The two ministers have highlighted the importance of contacts and mutual visits between Armenia and Canada which have recently been active. They have also spoken about the implementation of agreements reached during Nalbandyan’s visit to Canada in May.

Upon Mr Lawrence Cannon request Armenian FM have elaborated on the recent developments on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

Mr Nalbandyan has also met his Iranian counterpart Manouchehr Mottaki. The two diplomats continued the discussion of the issues of their September 15 meeting, as well as touched upon regional issues.
