Eva Rivas hasn't been invited to Armenian women's basketball team

Eva Rivas, Armenia's participant to the Eurovision-2010 Song Contest, has not been invited to Armenian women's basketball team, Armenia's Basketball Federation told local Armenian sports news website Armsport.am.

"Armenia's Basketball Federation denies the news about inviting Eva Rivas to the national team. The chief coach of Armenia's [basketball national] team is Gia Ghazanchyan who has never invited Eva Rivas. We do respect the art of Armenia's talented singer, but the news about her invitation is just misinformation," Federation told Armsport.am.

In an early interview with the Ukrainian TV Stolichnoe Television Eva Rivas had said she had been invited to the Armenian women's basketball national team.
