NATO Secretary General to arrive in Tbilisi

NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen is set to arrival in Tbilisi on 30 September, Georgia's Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze said today at a scheduled Monday briefing.

She said Rasmussen will meet with Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, Prime Minister Nika Gilauri, Parliament Speaker David Bakradze and Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze during the visit, reports Azerbaijani news website Trend.

He will also attend the opening ceremony of the NATO liaison office in Georgia.

Kalandadze added that Rasmussen will discuss a wide range of issues during the visit to Tbilisi.
