Dolphins, sea cats and sea lions: Yerevan will have a dolphinarium soon

Yerevan will have a first-ever dolphinarium that will be built in Komitas Pantheon as part of the park’s renovation project initiated by Yerevan Municipality.

According to Alexander Merlyan, the Director of the Ukrainian Nerum, the company which will construct the dolphinarium, has wide experience in the sphere.

It has built dolphinariums in Kiyev, Odessa, Donetsk and Kharkov.

It will build in the park’s amusement site that has not been used for the purpose since a long time. The pool will be 5 meters in length and 18 meters in radius.

In a 2.5 month’s time the pool will be ready to host 4 dolphins, 2 sea cats and a sea lion. The animals will be brought from Odessa.
