Turkey will continue spending efforts for 'just' resolution of Karabakh conflict

Turkish president Abdullah Gul has spoken about regional issues among others while addressing the parliament on Friday.

Saying that Turkey wishes to have its own role in securing peace, stability and welfare in the region, Mr Gul has said that Ankara is doing its best to ensure what he called a "just resolution" of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

"The de facto situation in the Caucasus is not beneficial for any one. For that reason Turkey has continued to demonstrate will to achieve a just resolution of the issues between Armenia and Azerbaijan," Mr Gul was reports by local Turkish news agency Anadolu Agency as saying.
