Don't question Zharangutyun's potential, says Stepan Safaryan

It is only Zharangutyun (Heritage) Party that can say what resources and chances it has for the next parliamentary elections, head of Zharangutyun's parliamentary faction Stepan Safaryan told Tert.am, asked to comment on a statement made by politologist Ervand Bozoyan.

Earlier today Mr Bozoyan had said that Zharangutyun Party has lost the chances to get parliamentary seats during the next elections.

"The electorate has been disappointed by the splitting processes that took place in this party," Mr Bozoyan had said.

Mr Safaryan noted that these kinds of predictions are not worth considering.

"We have since 2007 heard so many predictions that we don't even consider it worth responding," said Mr Safaryan.

"Only Zharangutyun itself can say what resources it has, but I think that it is the people expressing such expertise opinions that will at the end of the day find themselves in an inconvenient situation, realizing that their own wishes do not match the reality," explained he.

"The opinion of those people is not serious not only relating to Zharangutyun but in other issues either," he added.
