Karabakh president awards medals to teachers

On 4 October on the occasion of the Day of Teachers President of Nagorno Karabakh Bako Sahakyan signed decrees awarding the Artsakh Republic state awards and honorary titles, according to a release by the Karabakh presidential administration.

For substantial contribution in educating and bringing up the younger generation “Vachagan Barepasht” medal was awarded to the following individuals:

Sophia Barseghyan, chief inspector of the education department of the Artsakh Republic Hadrout regional administration, Aida Saghyan, retired teacher, the town of Martouni.

The “Gratitude” medal was awarded to Nelly Atanesyan, headmaster of the Arajadzor village public school of the Artsakh Republic Martakert region, Alexander Babayan, retired teacher, the village of Karin-tak, Shoushi region of the Artsakh Republic, Eleonora Zakaryan, headmaster of the Lousadzor village primary school of the Artsakh Republic Askeran region, Mareta Haroutyunyan, teacher of mathematics in the Karvachar public school of the Artsakh Republic Shahoumyan reagion, Vardoush Movsisyan, teacher of history in the Berdzor school N1 of the Artsakh Republic Kashatagh region.

For attaining outstanding success in educating and bringing up the younger generation the “Honoured Pedagogue of the Artsakh Republic” honorary title was conferred on the following individuals: Sos Arzoumanyan, head of the state educational inspection of the Artsakh Republic ministry of education, Anahit Hayrapetyan, teacher of the Russian language and literature in the Stepanakert school N3.
