Levon Aronyan is world’s 3rd best chess player

Leading Armenian chess grand master Levon Aronyan is celebrating his 26th birthday and has received a perfect gift from the FIDE: it has unveiled its rating list of the best chess players having more than 2700 points.

Aronyan has improved his position for one level compared to the last year’s list and is now the world’s third best player leaving Veselin Topalov behind.

Aronyan has improved his position by 10.8 points.
