"Armenia's Last Tighrope Dancer" wins "Rosia" award

Armenian film directors have won a Russian film prize.

According to Russian news agency ITAR-TASS, "Armenia's Last Tighrope Dancer" by Arman Yeritsyan and Inna Sahakyan was awarded with the "Best Feature Film" prize at the Russian film festival "Rosia" held in Ekaterinburg from 1-5 October.

Russian film director Pavel Fatakhudinov's "Angara" has been recognized as the "best short feature film."

Among other films winning prizes were "Peacific Ocean," a Russian film (the best debut), "The Dusk of Gods" (best operator skill and high-quality professionalism).

The festival included 28 films from Armenia, Russia, Ukraine and Estonia.
