Armenian and Azerbaijani delegations met in PACE

Armenian and Azerbaijani delegations to the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly (PACE) held a meeting late on Tuesday. PACE Chairman Mevlut Chavushoglu and PACE Secretary General Matthias Sorinas also attended the meeting, reports Azerbaijani news website APA.

Head of the Armenian delegation to PACE David Harutyunyan and his Azerbaijani counterpart Samed Seyidov, as well as opposition MPs Sabir Hajiyev and Armen Rustamyan affiliated with the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (Dashnaktsutyun, ARF-D) attended the meeting.

Following the meeting, the head of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE Seyidov told reporters that the parties decided during the talks to continue such contacts.

Also, the parliamentarians of the two countries agreed on holding a new meeting between the two delegations on 7 October, at the last summer session.
