Gas supplies to Armenia will be halted for 3 days

Gas supplies to Armenia through the North-South pipeline which passes via Georgia will due to technical reasons be suspended from 8 a.m. on October 11, reports Gruzya Online.

The Georgian company, that organizes the supplies of the Russian gas to Armenia, has said it will halt gas supplies due to pre-emptive maintenance works on the Kazakh-Saguramo pipeline - which is part of the North-South pipeline.

It has also mentioned that both the Russian and the Armenian sides have already been informed about it.

The gas supplies to Armenia will be resumed at 10 a.m. on October 14.
