War over Karabakh is improbable, but there have always been crazy people, says Paruyr Hayrikyan

The resumption of the Karabakh war is less probable, leader of National Self-Determination Union (NSDU) and former political prisoner Paruyr Hayrikyan said at a press conference today.

According to him, the international community has a great influence upon the conflicting parties.

"The international community has a great impact [on the conflicting parties]," said he, adding, that the war that any party will unleash, will be directed against the international community.

Further he mentioned that there has always been what he called "crazy" people, adding that Armenia must be ready for any "crazy" behavioural displays.

"Due to the international community there is no probability for the resumption of the war. But we must not inspire ourselves as if everything is OK," said Paruyr Hayrikyan.
