Mika women's chess team wins bronze in Plovdiv

Women’s chess team of Yerevan’s Mika has won a bronze medal in the European Chess Club Cup in Plovdiv.

Mika, which had in the 2006 cup become a champion, has won over the Bulgarian “Lokomotive-2000” at a 3.5:0.5.

According to local Armenian sports news website Armsport.am, among the winners in the Armenian team have been Harika Dronaval, Lilit Mkrtchyan and Lilit Galoyan.

Elina Danielyan played at a draw.

With 10 points “Monte Carlo” has won the first place, followed by the Russian Saint Petersburg.

Mika has been the third with 9 points.
