A Russia-based Armenian entrepreneur has been killed today, reports Russian news agency Interfax.

Eduard Kakosyan, nicknamed in the criminal world as Karas, has been killed in the centre of the Russian resort town of Sochi.

Citing its own source in the local police, Interfax informs that Eduard Kakosyan was in close ties with Aslan Usoyan, a criminal a famous and influential god father nicknamed as Ded Hasan.

The source does not rule out that the Kakosyan's assassination may be linked to a recent attempted murder against Aslan Usoyan.
No other details are reported about the incident.
