Armenian delegation left for Astrakhan

An Armenian delegation headed by President Serzh Sargsyan left for Astrakhan, Russia, to hold the next trilateral meeting with Azerbaijani and Russian presidents over the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Armenia's Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the presidential administration Vigen Sargsyan and Armenia's Ambassador to Russia Oleg Yesayan are accompanying the president.

Upon arrival in Astrakhan the Armenian delegation will pay a visit to an Armenian monument and will place a wrath there.
Further Serzh Sargsyan will hold a meeting with Dmitry Medvedev and Ilham Aliyev.

The meeting in Astrakhan has been initiated by the Russian president.

Later a working dinner will be served on behalf of Dmitry Medvedev followed by a tour on River Volga. This meeting will take place at a 1+2 format and will be attended by Edward Nalbandyan and Vigen Sargsyan.

Another meeting at a 1+3 format will follow later with Oleg Yesayan also joining it.

From the Russian side the meeting will be attended by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Sergey Prikhodko, Assistant to Russian president Dmitry Medvedev.
