Armenian defense ministry condemns Azeri acts of sabotage

In a statement released today Armenia’s Defense Ministry has strongly condemned Azerbaijani actions to destabilize the situation on the line of contact between Azerbaijan and Karabakh.

The statement comes a day after Harut Grigoryan, 20, am Armenian temporary soldier, was shot dead on Karabakhi and Azerbaijani contact line.

The incident comes shortly after the October 26 monitoring by OSCE and before the trilateral meeting between Armenian, Azerbaijani and Russian presidents to be held in Astrakhan today.

Further the statement says that Armenian Defense Ministry conveys its deepest condolences to Harut Gregorian’s relatives.

It also states that it is Azerbaijan that must fully be held responsible for such acts of sabotage.
