Students in Connecticut attempt to break President's speech

American students started whistling during President Obama’s speech in Connecticut, urging more funds for the White House’s anti-AIDS program.

Obama’s reaction to the activists was cool. Besides, the President didn’t miss the chance to criticize his opponents in the election campaign, Russian news agency Rosbalt reports.

Two days before the midterm elections, Washington hosted a mass demonstration in support of soberness in US mass media and US policy. The campaign was attended by tens and thousands of people.

Saturday’s meeting was aimed at bringing together the “indifferent” proponents of the Democratic Party, calling on them to visit polling stations and support Obama’s party members.
